When Respond.io may be the better fit
Respond.io may fit better for high-volume messaging operations that want many channels, including Viber and LINE, with AI answering inbound calls, and already run their CRM elsewhere.
When Rexenda may be the better fit
Rexenda fits better if you want AI agents that also place outbound calls and calling campaigns, and contacts, pipeline and revenue tracked in the same product.
How Respond.io charges vs. Rexenda
Respond.io charges a monthly or annual fee per workspace with a set number of users, extra users priced by plan and, from Growth up, an allowance of monthly active contacts. Each plan includes AI credits; usage beyond the allowance is billed automatically in on-demand blocks up to a cap, and live AI call handling needs Advanced or higher. Rexenda starts with a free plan with no time limit, and its paid plans include AI credits that cover chat replies and voice minutes alike.
Moving from Respond.io to Rexenda
Export your contacts from Respond.io as a CSV file and import them with column mapping and a review step; unrecognized columns become custom fields, and the import can be undone. Once the WhatsApp number is released, connect it with Meta's Embedded Signup and link your other channels again. Workflows, conversation history and reports do not carry over, so recreate key workflows in Rexenda's flow builder.
