When Meta Business Agent may be the better fit

Meta Business Agent can be enough if you run a small business from the WhatsApp Business app and want an assistant that answers frequent questions about hours, products, prices and shipping at no cost within Meta's free allowance, without connecting another tool.

When Rexenda may be the better fit

In the WhatsApp Business app, Meta Business Agent is free up to an included monthly allowance, and more responses come with Meta One business plans, whose prices vary by region. On the WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta has charged it per token since August 1, 2026, at one global rate that Meta estimates at a few cents per message. Rexenda has a free plan with no time limit and paid plans with monthly AI credits, while Meta keeps billing WhatsApp fees to your own account.

Moving from Meta Business Agent to Rexenda

There is little to export: rewrite your business description, FAQs and product details as knowledge for a Rexenda AI agent. Connect the same number through coexistence to keep the WhatsApp Business app, sync its contacts and import up to 180 days of chats, requested once within 24 hours of connecting. Then turn off Meta Business Agent on that number so customers don't get two answers.
